ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUPPORT PROGRAM BY DYPA (€17,000)

The objective of the program by the Public Employment Service – DYPA (formerly OAED) is to promote entrepreneurship through the creation of new small and medium-sized enterprises by 5,880 unemployed individuals aged 30 to 59, with a particular emphasis on unemployed women.

The action “Entrepreneurship Support Program for Unemployed Individuals Aged 30-59 with an Emphasis on Women” is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund+ under the framework of the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion” Program 2021-2027, with the total co-financed Public Expenditure amounting to €100,000,000 across three cycles (€60,000,000 for 2025, €38,000,000 for 2026, and €2,000,000 for 2027, respectively).

The financial aid for new businesses/beneficiaries of the program amounts to €17,000 and is disbursed in three installments as follows:

  • 1st installment of €4,600: upon business initiation.
  • 2nd installment of €6,200: after the end of the first six-month period from business initiation, subject to verification of operation for a duration of six months.
  • 3rd installment of €6,200: after the end of the second six-month period from business initiation, subject to verification of operation for a duration of six months.

The funding application (investment proposal) is submitted electronically through the Integrated State Aid Information System (OPSKE) of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance.

The submission of electronic applications begins on Thursday, December 19, 2024, and ends on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
