NEW GRANT PROGRAM FOR SOCIAL ECONOMY ENTERPRISES – Κ.ΑΛ.Ο. (in the Region of Central Macedonia)

The new program for Social Economy enterprises (Κ.ΑΛ.Ο.) in the Region of Central Macedonia offers a great opportunity to boost social entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment. GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Support Type: Grant with 100% intensity.
  • Budget: Up to €65,000 per proposal.
  • Objective: Encourage the promotion of Social and Solidarity Economy (Κ.ΑΛ.Ο.) and enhance employment in Central Macedonia.

ELIGIBLE ENTITIES

  • Existing Enterprises: Registered under Law 4430/2016 in the Κ.ΑΛ.Ο. Registry, holding a valid registration certificate.
  • New Enterprises: Under formation after the program’s publication, with registration completed before funding starts.
  • Exclusions: Activities in agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture, and certain other activity codes (ΚΑΔ).

FUNDING DETAILS

  1. Jobs Creation:
    • For existing enterprises: both existing and new positions.
    • For new enterprises: new positions only.
  2. Other Expenses: Direct and indirect costs related to the investment plan will be supported (40% of eligible payroll and social security costs).

SUBMISSION PERIOD

  • Dates: January 14, 2025, to April 30, 2025 (15:00 local time).
  • Submission: Applications must be submitted electronically through the Integrated State Aid Information System (ΟΠΣΚΕ). Ensure to include all required documents listed in Appendix II.
